Couple That Never Kissed Tied The Knot

Two newly-weds are practicing what they've been preaching to their teenage students.

The couple shared their first kiss Sunday at the altar.

The two teach abstinence in the Chicago, Illinois public schools.

The Chicago Tribune reports the couple had never kissed and had never been alone together in a house.

Oh how wonderful. It had to be hard. I'm so proud of them. They truly can relate to what couples go through when they choose to wait. God Bless their marriage. They are off to a great start.

Anonymous: Little does your son know that by his seemingly "innocent" kiss, he has awakened the demon dragon LUST which will now burn in his loins and drive him to do acts not seemly for man to commit. The lewdness of laciviousness will be like fire in his young veins, and that kiss will lead to more. Ah, how primrose the path seems before him, but it leads to the impurity of debauchery. Why did you let him lead this young woman astray (if it was a woman; everything goes in this society)? Why did you let him STRAY? WHY?

My son just had his first kiss!! I see nothing wrong with experiencing some things before marriage. If you want to wait, thats up to you, but dont condemn others for not waiting.

I hope that they both eat healthy, stay hydrated and drink plenty of gatorade, cause its catch-up time now!

Only a foul and corrupt immoral society would mock the purity of a relationship such as this. You godless people who advocate the "try before you buy" approach to marriage are only espousing the crumbling values of a society that is dead to all that is good and right. You aren't your own. You don't even know who you serve.

Congratulations to them. My daughter and son-in-law also had their first kiss at the altar and have a very real very strong marriage for all the right reasons! It would be wonderful if more people could get to know their future spouse emotionally and intellectually before they do physically. It might be a better way to determine if they are truly right for each other than the "bed test". Best wishes to that young couple in Chicago! Kudos.

Bullroot & Tarts, I couldn't have said it any better myself. I give them 2 years tops before someone cheats or decides they're gay. Call me cynical.

Notice the jeering from posters already. Foolish people ... don't realize that those who have a "play the field" and "test the goods" mentality before marriage carry that mentality into marriage. What a shame that a couple's good example of being pledged to the union of marriage is held up to public ridicule. It's the way of the world.

Hope their students understand the message they are presenting.
