Happy Halloween! Contest Winners!!

Dozens of people dressed up for WITN's Halloween Costume Contest at our Greenville Studio this chilly Friday morning.

Several of them took home cash prizes for their creative efforts this Halloween.

1st Place Adult Winner, $300:
Will Weisiger of Goldsboro as a "Pop Tart"

2nd Place Adult Winner, $150:
Jackie Noriega of Vanceboro as "Ursula"

3rd Place Adult Winner, $75:
Tammy Reynolds of Greenville as "Cotton Candy"

1st Place Child Winner, Tie, $75:
Gray Meeks of Greenville as "ESPN Anchor And Desk"

1st Place Child Winner, Tie, $75:
Natalie Tyson of Bethel and her horse Pepper as "Fairy And Unicorn"

2nd Place Child Winner, $25:
Spencer Jordan of Greenville as "Batman And Batmobile"

WITN personalities also braved the cold to share in the spirit of the day.Marvin Daugherty appeared as a gladiator, Dave Jordan as Batman: The Dark Knight, Christine Kennedy as a bumblebee, Heather King as Dorothy (along with her dog Dixie as Toto!) and Greg Armbrecht appeared as Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Jim Howard was sorry he had to miss this annual tradition, but he's on his honeymoon! He'll be back on the Sunrise Show Monday.

    Great turn out! I bet the judges had a tough time choosing the winners. Looked like good fun for all. My hats off to all the contestants for braving the cold. I love WITN's morning show.
