Looking For A Safe, Exciting Halloween Treat For Your Kids?

The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is holding a "Trick or Treat Under the Sea" Thursday, October 30.

Organizers say it gives children a chance to trick-or-treat indoors among decorated exhibits, as local businesses hand out candy from Halloween-themed booths.

The aquarium closes at noon Thursday to prepare for the event and reopens at 5 p.m. Tickets are sold until 8 p.m. Admission is 5 p.m. per person, but there's no charge for kids ages 2 and under.

The Aquarium is five miles west of Atlantic Beach in Carteret County.
