Authorities say a North Carolina man will undergo a psychiatric evaluation after being jailed on a charge of threatening to kill Barack Obama.
Federal documents identified the man held Friday as 48-year-old
Jerry M. Blanchard. A criminal complaint says witnesses overheard
Blanchard twice last month threatening to kill the presumptive
Democratic nominee.
A Secret Service agent wrote in court documents that Blanchard
may have mental health issues related to recent head injuries.
Blanchard denied making the threat, according to the documents.
Separately Thursday, a 22-year-old man in Florida made a court
appearance in Miami on charges he threatened to assassinate Obama.
That man also has denied making threats against Obama.

Even though I don't want him for president, I don't think anyone should threaten his life. He is a human being ,and has his own way of thinking how he would run this country, whether right or wrong. Every one has an opinion. All I have to say is who ever gets to be the President, hopefully they'll do the right thing. Just remember the President don't have all the say so. When something goes wrong every body wants to blame the President. It has to be aproved by other people, not only the President. Just hope for the best,And Pray.

You people who wnat to live in the past and not look to the future should stay in the past,as for me I'm looking to the future of this country, and the incumbents just is'nt on the list for the future of this country. You all need to face the music and see that the future of this country and the way out of this hell hole that Bush has dug us in has got to be Obama, and same old Exxon McCain is defintely not the answer. Don't allow big oil to stick it to you again like they bought the Bush administration, unless you are ready for $8.00 a gallon gas. Stop with your lying blogs and face the facts.

Google the NY Times article "President Apostate" by Edward Luttwak. This conflict between Russia and Georgia proved what many of us already knew, that Obama has no idea how to handle foreign affairs. His immediate position on the matter was weak. "I think it is important at this point for all sides to show restraint and to stop this armed conflict." Please! My kids wouldn't even stop fighting for that. The difference is that McCain wants NATO to take action. NATO was formed precisely to counter Soviet Russia's power. Obama wants the U.N. Security Council to THINK about taking action. Unfortunately, his 143 days of experience in the Senate apparently didn't teach him that Russia has a permanent seat on that Council and holds VETO POWER over any decision. He had an opportunity to show the world if he was ready for this job. It's obvious that he is not.

Good job Secret Service for getting these nut cases off the street. If this is about Politics and National Security if Al Qaede and the Taliban could vote in the next Presidential Election. Who would they vote for. Obama who wants to get out of Iraq and Afganistan now, and hope they Al Qaede do not fly anymore jets into our city buildings anymore. Or War Hero POW Senator McCain who wants to secure a Democratic Government in Iraq and Afganistan to give these poor people the right to choose there own elected officials. A Government for the people and by the people. Something which they never had. Remember the Muslim Lady with the purple ink on her finger showing she voted she finally had the right to vote something new something she never had FREEDOM. Vote for Obama and Run or vote for McCain , and fight the good fight. Do not let my fellow Army, Marines , Navy and Airman die in for nothing. Lets sick it out, and give these people FREEDOM. Who would Al Qaede vote for Obama Or McCain ?
