Two high school students were hit by a car as they were leaving school Tuesday outside of Jacksonville.
The Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Piney Green Road.
Kayla Fields, 14, and Erica Lindsay, 17, are students at White Oak High School. Troopers say they were struck as they ran out into the path of a vehicle which was approaching the school.
The Highway Patrol says no charges will be filed against the driver of the vehicle while the two teens were not seriously hurt.
