Report: Hertford County Schools Superintendent Resigns

A local county school system is ending the year knowing they'll soon need to search for a new superintendent.

John Fahey has announched his resignation from Hertford County Public Schools. That's according to the Roanoke-Chowan News Herald. Fahey is moving to Hopewell, Virginia, the paper says, and the school board will start searching for a permanent replacement in February.

I don't know that Dr. Fahey will see this. My heart hurts that you are leaving. Thank you for the awesome job you have done in Hertford County. Your love for students is evident. Thank you.
