A water main break has cancelled classes at Pitt Community College Wednesday afternoon.
The college says classes between 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at its main campus in Winterville have been cancelled after the leak this morning.
It happened after crews installing a fiber-optic cable struck the campus' main water line.
The campus will remain open and employees will continue to work as scheduled. PCC says classes will resume at 5:30 p.m.
