While social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter allow us to share photos and keep in touch, the idea of social media bullying is a growing concern.
Police are not taking the topic lightly. Tarboro police officers are hosting an anti-cyber bullying forum called "the Victimization of Social Media," on Thursday.
The idea of the forum is to spark a conversation between community leaders, parents, and children about the misuse of social media in Edgecombe County.
The meeting will be held at Tarboro Town Hall 6 p.m. Thursday.
