Northside Student Charged With Making Bomb Threat

A high school student has been arrested after deputies say he wrote a bomb threat on a bathroom wall two months ago.

Johnathan Frazier of Bath is charged with a felony count of making a false bomb report.

Beaufort County deputies say around 10:30 a.m. on April 18th, the written threat was found at Northside High School. Multiple deputies and three fire departments went to the school where no suspicious items were found.

The 18-year-old student was arrested Wednesday and released on a $500 secured bond.

The school system says Frazier was a junior at Northside this past year and will be disciplined according to their code of conduct.
