(KSEE) A middle school teacher in Tulare, California is under fire after inadvertently creating a school gun scare.
School officials say the teacher asked her students to bring toy guns to class for a reenactment.
That not only violated district policy, but also triggered a police response when one student showed up with a cap gun.
