A Camp Lejeune school teacher missed class on Friday after she was arrested on heroin charges.

53-year-old Theresa Fedor of Hubert teaches sixth grade at Brewster Middle School on base, according to multiple media reports.

Fedor is charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver heroin, among other related drug charges.

Officials with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service were at the district superintendent's office Friday morning to arrest Fedor, according to reports.

Her bond was set at $25,000 and she is due back on court in mid-October.

Reports there is no indication Fedor was providing the drug to anyone at the school or on base.
