The family of a high school senior killed in a car accident has announced the funeral arrangements for the teen.
The Highway Patrol says Justin Ball, 18, of Beulaville, was killed Wednesday night when he crashed his pickup truck. Ball was a senior at East Duplin High School.
A funeral service will be held for Ball Friday at 7 p.m. at East Duplin Fine Arts Building in Beulaville. A graveside service will be held tomorrow at Bostic Family Cemetery in Potters Hill at 10 a.m.
Family members are mourning the loss of a high school senior who was about to graduate, and they say they hope other young people learn from this tragedy.

Ball was not wearing a seat belt. Justin's grandmother who raised him, Peggy Ball, says Justin was full of life and going to graduate in just a few weeks, and while tragic, Justin's family hopes others will learn from what happened.
"If any thing could come of this- any good could come out of it to young people to older people if your driving to fast, please slow down. If you're texting, don't do it," said Peggy Ball.
School officials say since this class of 2011 started kindergarten four classmates including Justin Ball have died from some sort of accident. That now leaves 167 students graduating on June 13th.

Troopers say the teen was headed north on Wagon Ford Road, which is east of Beulaville. They say his pickup truck went off the road and hit two trees.
Ball was not wearing a seat belt and troopers are investigating whether alcohol played a part in the 11:00 p.m. accident.
Social workers and counselors are at the high school to help both students and teachers deal with the death.
Ball was scheduled to graduate on June 13th.
