There's been another arrest of a public school employee in Wayne County.
Antwann Smith, the former band director at Goldsboro High School, was arrested this morning and charged with embezzlement.
Police say they began their investigation after the school system reported missing money from the high school.
The 28-year-old Goldsboro man was released on a $2,500 bond pending his first court appearance.
The school system says Smith resigned on October 25th and started with the school in August 2010.
Smith is the second school employee to be arrested this month in Wayne County for embezzlement. A school bookkeeper was arrested earlier this month on charges he stole from Brogden Middle School.
