A high school student is in jail after deputies say he made threats on Twitter of a shooting at the school last night. It's the second Onslow County high school student to be charged for making threats since Friday.

Onslow County deputies arrested Bryan Holley who is a senior at Richlands High School. A warrant says Holley said he was going to "do a mass shooting at Richlands High School" and that everyone should wear bullet proof vests to school.

Deputies say they received the threat information last night and the 17-year-old was arrested just before midnight. Additional officers are at the high school this morning for extra security while Holley is jailed and is awaiting his first appearance.

In a statement, the school system says the threat was made on social media late last night. The school's principal notified parents and staff and the school system says the campus is safe.

Holley is the second Onslow County high school student to be arrested in the past several days for allegedly making threats. On Friday, Kyle Szuch was charged after a bomb threat was made at Southwest High School.

In his warrant, Szuch--who is a student at Southwest--is accused of writing on a bathroom wall "I'm going to blow up the school at 12:30."
