Grenade Found At Onslow County Elementary School

Onslow County lawmen are investigating a hand grenade that was found on a school campus today.

Deputies tell us the grenade was discovered at Meadow View Elementary School, which is on Firetower Road. Deputies say the grenade had no powder in it, or nothing in the device that would have made it a threat to students or staff at the school.

There's no word yet on who brought the grenade to the elementary school.

It was serious enough to call law enforcement but not serious enough to notify parents, SMH. Meadow View has not communicated this in any way, shape, or form.

cmon now parents Take control of your kids. Hey Anonymous; What isle are those in at Walmart? Will that stuff be on sale "Black Friday"? I thought "parents" were "seasonal items". From where I shop I was thinking they quit producing "control".
