Greene County Schools Released Revised Dress Code

Greene County Schools announced its revised dress code Monday night. Students can now wear collared shirts with stripes and logos, t-shirts supporting either Greene County Schools or higher education such as ECU, and most importantly for parent Candice Russell: jeans.

"Jeans are going to be the first thing on our list. The fact that they can wear jeans, we're excited about that. That was the main problem, jeans, they can wear jeans. I can't say it again jeans," said Russell.

The changes come in time for North Carolina's tax free shopping weekend which is from August 3rd to 5th.
