Can you even imagine taking the stage to sing a duet with Keith Urban?
An ECU student is having that dream happen tonight. Sophomore Kasey Tyndall won a Raleigh radio contest and will get her shot to sing with Urban.
Urban is performing tonight at Walnut Creek Ampitheatre in Raleigh as a part of his "Raise 'Em Up" tour.
To win the contest, Tyndall called into Raleigh's 94.7 WQDR and sang Miranda Lambert's part in "We Were Us," Urban's hit.
"I called in. They recorded it, sent to Keith Urban's team, and they picked me," Tyndall said. "So Friday night, he'll announce me and I'll go out and sing that song with him."
Tyndall taught herself to play the guitar at 10 years old and has been singing ever since.
She was born in Rocky Mount, then lived in Greenville and graduated from D.H. Conley High School. She intends to major in nursing at ECU.
The 19-year-old left Greenville this morning for her trip to Raleigh.
