You get what you pay for. North Carolina is near the bottom in school funding so why do we think we would be anywhere other than the bottom in academic success? I would not take this job for $250,000. You have to put up with people who have no clue how to run a school district but criticize every move if you spend a dollar.

The smart ones figured it out in the late 60's early 70's and went to private schools. The rest have limited futures and should be prepared for min wage jobs. It's sad but true

What exactly does an overpaid superintentent do. Aren't all state schools run the same way. Why do we need 100 county superintentents.

then the 100 assistant superintentents, their staff of 100 and it never stops. no wonder their is no money, lets start a second and third lottery and hire more superintentents that keep us at about 48th in the country in education. Stop the insanity.

Maybe they can do something about their terrible basketball sports fans! They are horrible! They vandalize visiting teams fans vehicles, steal from visiting teams locker rooms and are quite violent and brutal just to say the least!! What are they waiting for? a tragedy?!
