A Beaufort County man is the winner of the North Carolina education Lottery's Cash 5 drawing.
John Woolard of Washington matched all 5 numbers in the December 4th drawing. The jackpot was just over $117,000.. After taxes, Woolard took home a check for almost $80,000
The winning ticket was sold at the Moody Mart in Washington.
Woolard said winning the jackpot is "amazing."
