Ambrose was charged with unsafe movement.
The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. as the bus driver was beginning her route.
Trooper L.A. Peele said she got the call of a school bus wreck with another vehicle at 7AM on Tuesday morning.
Beaufort County School officials said no students were on bus #176, which usually runs from Bath Elementary School.
Trooper Peele said the bus driver was just beginning her route when the wreck happened near the intersection of White Post Road and North Boyd Road in Beaufort County.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital, according to Peele, but the bus driver did not have any injuries.
No word yet on any charges.
Beaufort County School officials confirmed there were no children on the bus and that the bus only had minor damage.
