Classes Resume Thursday At Flooded School

Good news for parents and kids at one area school, classes will resume Thursday at Kinston Charter Academy.

The school was closed Monday after a water leak flooded parts of the facility on Highway 11.

Buses will operate the regular hours for morning pickups and will operate on the early out schedule for the afternoon.

The school says it expects to resume normal schedule on Tuesday. School is closed on Monday for the Dr. Martin Luther King Birthday.

Kinston Charter says make up days will be announced later.
