Breast Cancer Walk In Greenville Brings Out Hundreds

Folks looking for a little exercise while supporting a good cause had plenty of reason to check out Greenville Sunday.

Metrics Incorporated and Indigreen Industrial Park played host to the 1st annual Leo Jenkins Cancer Center Pink Ribbon 5k fun run and one mile walk.

The event was created to benefit those suffering from breast cancer.

"It makes me very joyful," says Kathy Dutton a seven year Breast Cancer survivor.

"It's wonderful to be surrounded by all these great folks in our community that are supporting us as survivors today," Dutton said Sunday.

Around 200 people showed up Sunday afternoon to show their support for the cause.
