Farmville Middle School Says Thank You To Our Military

One middle school in the east took time out Thursday to say thanks to our military men and women.

Farmville Middle School held its first annual military appreciation day during its football game against C.M. Epps Middle School..

A handful of military veterans marched out a halftime to have their name announced while the fans in the stands thanked them with cheers.

The Farmville Central High School R.O.T.C. performed a routine drill during halftime as well.

Lionel Kato, the principal of Farmville Middle School says military appreciation day will be an annual event.

The final score of the game, Farmville Middle School lost to C.M. Epps 28-14.
