Pitt County Schools To Offer Flu Vaccine

One school system in the East is offering an easy way for parents to get their kids vaccinated for the flu.

Pitt County Schools is sending forms home with students this week, so parents can sign children up to receive the FluMist vaccine. That's the mist form of the vaccine that is sprayed into the nose, not a shot.

The vaccines will be provided at Pitt County Schools in the first weeks of October. The forms are due back at school September 11Th. The vaccine is free. Participation is the parents choice.
