College students could get a break on their textbook costs.
That's because textbook publisher Cengage learning is going to rent books to students.
Cengage is one of the largest textbook publishers in the U.S.
Students will have to pay from 40 percent to 70 percent of the sale price to rent and will get immediate access to the book's first chapter electronically in e-book format.
Rentals will run from 60 to 120 days, and students can choose to return the book or buy it.
