Beaufort County School Dress Code Changes

It might be hard to believe but back to school shopping is right around the corner, a heads up to parents with kids in the Beaufort County School District, dress codes have changed.

The school board decided on three main changes this year:

1. Graphic and screen-printing is now allowed on school clothes but nothing can be offensive, like alcohol related graphics.
2. Embroidery is also allowed.
3. Any size emblems are now permitted as well.

Beaufort County School Spokeswoman Sarah Hodges tells us, “It is a little bit less strict but students will still look very professional.”

A first time offender will get a warning a second offense means a one day in school suspension.
