GREENVILLE - One board of education is working on tweaking their students uniform policy.
The Pitt County Board of Education meeting Monday will include the introduction of updates to the uniform policy, including adding black and navy collared shirts. Right now, students are allowed to wear white collared shirts, along with two other colors designated by the school.
The proposed update also includes "spirit wear," which is described as principal-approved school spirit wear, including club and organizational clothing and letter jackets.
The board meeting Monday will include "public expression" about the uniform policy. The meeting is at J.H. Rose High School in Greenville at 6 p.m. Monday.
