Small ECU Fire Called Suspicious

Authorities are calling a classroom fire that started on the campus of ECU suspicious.

Police say they are investigating the cause of a fire that started in the corner of an empty classroom on the second floor of the Brewster building Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to an alarm after 3:00 pm. By the time crews arrived on scene authorities say someone put out the flames with a fire extinguisher.

Nobody was injured and the classroom sustained minor damage.

    I agree there are quite a few troublemakers but come on people is there any MORE at ecu thatn any other university? Highly doubt it.

    My boyfriend was in class the day this happened. He said his class was cut short, cause one of the students in his class noticed smoke across the hall in Brewster.

    Other students were deprived of going to class because of one or more idiots.
