Getting healthy was the theme of the day with folks from the East Carolina Heart Institute as they helped sponsor the first ever Heart Health Expo.
It happened Saturday afternoon in Greenville at the convention center.
People who were there got a chance to get some much needed information about heart disease, free blood pressure tests, free cholesterol tests and a free body mass index.
Chris Heath, a professional tennis player said, "I think the healthy heart expo is a great thing to do. It brings out a lot of people and a lot of people realize how they can stay in shape."
A spokesperson says they are hoping to raise awareness locally about heart disease and help lead women and their families on the path to prevention.
