Operation "Drive to Live" starts up Monday morning at 6am and lasting all week. The goal is to promote safe driving at North Carolina High Schools.
State Highway Patrol says 125 teenagers were killed on the state's highways last year.
They say many collisions occur as students are traveling to and from school and speeding is a leading cause.
The operation will be conducted from 6am thru 5pm each day until Friday.
Monday morning there is a planned news conference to announce statewide goals.
