Car Hits School Bus

The driver of a Ford sedan lost control of his vehicle and hit a school bus in Snow Hill in Greene County Tuesday afternoon.

Highway patrol says the driver sideswiped an empty school bus at the intersection of Highway 258 and Highway 13. The school bus was in the left hand turning lane when the sedan ran into the rear of the bus.

The driver was taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital and suffered minor injuries. Highway patrol says he will face charges.

If people would keep a eye on the road instead of gossiping on there cellphones it sure would be alot better they either can't see a big yellow bus or they are driving in the middle of the road back roads at that talking and don't try and pass them you may get killed trying.they need a law like new york state points on there license and if caught a second time a 250.00 dollars fine and a third time they lose there license but they will still drive down here. so your fighting a losing battle either way. why do bus driver have cellphones for too.

Something that big and bright yellow to boot, and he still hit it? Time to go see the old eye doctor.
