Interim Superintendent Named For Beaufort County Schools

One school district in eastern Carolina has a new person in charge, for now.

Thursday night the Beaufort County School District named retired Craven County School Superintendent William Rivenbark as interim superintendent.

The Beaufort County School Board said it was experience that led them to Rivenbark.

A search for a permanent replacement for Dr. Jeffrey Moss will now begin. Moss is leaving to become superintendent of Lee County Schools.

Given whs c/o 2006's level of literacy, change was needed.

To WHS c/o 2006: Don't criticize the superintendent when you can't even spell ... please proofread. At least Dr. Moss was literate. Also, we look forward to working with Mr. Rivenbark --- not Mr. Williams.
