Women Arrested After Pitt County Deputies Find Oxycodone Pills

A woman from the western part of our state is behind bars here, accused of trafficking prescription pain pills.

Sally Rogers, 36, of WhittIer in Swain County is behind bars this morning. A tip led Pitt County deputies to pull her over on Black Jack-Simpson and Avon Roads Friday, and they say they found $3,000 worth of oxycodone pills.

Rogers is behind bars under a $200,000 bond, and officials say she has similar charges pending in Jackson County.
