Does this arrested "hitman" have anything to do with this crime? It makes me wonder. But it still isn't right to visciously hurt someone-that settles nothing. No one deserves to be shot or beaten-they may be a real stinker-but no one deserves this treatment. She could have been shot in the face. Now what purpose would that have served. To want to take a life like this means your life to you or anyone you care about means nothing to you.May god have mercy!

To everyone who thinks the churches and gov't should be helping this person... God helps those who help themselves. Some people don't want a hand-up, they want a hand-out. Some people cannot be "helped."

I do understand what you are saying.People have to want help and want to change or helping them just seems useless. Then they repeat the same thing. But we can always pray for there to be change. We forget God has more power-more resources than we ever will.He owns all our resources-He is our Maker and our Saviour. To give your son up on a cross-to see him being beaten and ravaged-to have him ask you to forgive -that had to be a tough one for God.But by those stripes, we have been saved-that's amazing!

Is this about "no jobs"? I don't believe so.If you really want a job you will find one and you will be able to pass a drug test to get a job.But we have to get young people to change-buying, selling drugs and robbing, attacking people-gangs are not a part of the solution-they are the problem.Once you have a record-it will be even harder to get a job-get more education-you have to respect yourself and believe, study God's word-commit yourself to a better life.Otherwise your life is dead and fruitless-you will reap what you sow.God Bless all!I pray for God's Kingdom to come on Earth as it is in Heaven-in Jesus's name-Amen!

So evidently you falsely passed a drug test or the job you have doesn't require testing.Sue yoy?Why would I even want to do that? But being on drugs is nothing to brag about. You might as well throw your money in the toilet and flush it.I don't see how using drugs helps anyone's life-it just puts money in the pockets of someone else-it robs you and your family. How many times have you been caught and who footed the bill? While you are using-has anyone been hurt-physically or mentally?

They took medicine-anything they could-they would take a life-it means nothing to them-no morales-no respect-only God help people like this. When you try to take someone's life-threaten to take it-there has to be fitting punishment-no early out. This seems premeditated-purposeful to make a point to all that were help at gunpoint and made to watch.I pray God will help the police find them before they hurt anyone else. They don't realize they are hurting themselves and any family or friends they have. This all is not about toughness on either side.It is cowardly to have no respect at all for our laws and people.May God have mercy! These people will do it again.

You can't always get to a gun if someone intrudes and if you're pepper sprayed. Also if they are pointing a gun at you-what are you going to do-your gun on the floor or not right on you?No one really ever wants to shoot an intruder. When someone is in their own home, no one should force their way in and brutally attack anyone-let alone a 50 year old woman. How macho and brave is that- 2 dudes shooting and beating a woman(let alone a disabled one)!Really- that makes them big, bad, tough men!But let's face it-there are more attacks-robberies all around.People want to take what isn't theirs and they don't want to work to buy what they want-so they take.We wonder why and it's not about they're from some bad neighborhood-it's about a total lack of respect for people and no faith in God.I, for one, surely wasn't raised this way and my family went without a lot of things. If they really believe in God and study His word, they wouldn't be doing all this. It's past time to pray for God to reach these people-to reach all people. There have been many people that promoted peace-Dr. Martin Luther King was one great one-and there are streets named in his honor all over.I wonder if he can see what is happening down here from Heaven because if he does surely there are tears running down his cheeks. This is not his dream.Watch the movie "Courageous" please-we need more Dads being with their kids and Moms and a renewed determination to raise our kids as God would want us.Look up courageousresources. If more people(men and women) would commit to The Resolution things would improve.God bless all!

Our representatives are soft on crime, where are the jobs? People need work. The state reps get paid, maybe to much. This what is causing the problem, the reps are not penalized for poor performance, cut in pay. The reps need to get on the street. They need to work for us.

Isn't there a good church who call help fit up that woman's house. Help your neighbors, stop sending the money to other countries.

Home invasion, our elected representatives , who we pay should change to law, life in prison for home invasion, life in prison for use of gun during a robbery, maybe life in prison for having a gun during a robbery, maybe we need new representatives who will get tough on crime, new sentencing standards, "three strikes you in for life." Someone may get elected with that quote.
