West Craven High Student Charged With Theft From Bus

A local high school student is behind bars, accused of stealing valuables from another high school's activity bus.

Jacques Nelson, 18, is behind bars in Craven County. Court records show the teen is charged with two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, and one count each of larceny and possession of stolen goods.

Nelson is a student at West Craven High School in Vanceboro and is accused of stealing valuables off a Washington High School activity bus during a football game on Thursday night, according to the New Bern Sun Journal. The newspaper reports some of the stolen items included cell phones and iPods.
