Washington DC Fugitives Arrested In Jacksonville

Police in Jacksonville say they helped the U.S. Marshal's Office arrest two fugitive's from Washington, DC.

Police say 23-year-old Marcellus Jackson and 21-year-old Keir Johnson were both arrested in the 200 block of Bracken Place Monday night.

As a precautionary measure to protect public safety, the JPD Tactical Team, as well as a K-9 unit, was activated and the area was secured.

Both suspects are being held at the Onslow County Jail with no bond. There is no additional information on what they were wanted for.
