Police say a spur of the moment decision turned a simple charge into a felony for one local young man.
20-year-old Patric Valentino tried getting into a Greenville club with a fake ID, according to police. We're told the bouncer took that ID when he realized it was fake.
Greenville Police say Valentino stuck around and grabbed the bag where his fake ID was being kept, but turns out that bag also had some cash in it.
Now the 20-year-old is facing a common law robbery charge, along with resisting a public officer and a couple other misdemeanors. His bond was set at $50,000.
