U.S. Marshals Arrest Double Murder Suspect

According to officials U.S. Marshals arrested a Greene County double murder suspect in Lenoir County early Saturday morning.

Officials say 20-year-old Jenterius Leach was apprehended with no resistance around 2 a.m. in the Hugo area. Leach is now in jail under no bond.

Leach was wanted for the shooting deaths of 49-year-old George Dixon and 23-year-old Zarkey Rivers.

The double murder happened back on Saturday October 8th. Deputies at that time said a group of people were at a home on Lilly Pad Rd. in Greene County when a fight broke out. Dixon and Rivers were both killed after being shot in the chest.

19-year-old Tony Ellis is also charged with two counts of murder for the deaths. He was arrested soon after the incident. He remains behind bars.

I am the sister in law of George, and the aunt of Zarkey the two victims shot. As a family member, I am happy he was caught, because as the EMS personnel spoke, why shot someone then go into hiding. If you ain't guilty of the crime why shoot someone then go into hiding. This appears to be cold blooded murder and God will handle them in his way. It's just hard to accept these losses, I've heard of a double wedding but never a double funeral. And this yr we had to experience that a double funeral. I just pray that these guys understand what they've done. Don't wish no hurt or harm upon them, and to my family I pray we have closure after all this.

This comment is for excuse me. Who are you to judge? How can you say it starts at home? Do you know these guys and how they were raised? As a parent you raise your child, but you cant pick and chose your childs choices when they are grown, nor can you be with your child every minute of the day. So, for you to make that comment please think before you speak. You must not have kids. Im just saying, I mean really...

I am so happy that they got him. Now they both can rest in peace. I just hope when they go to court the judge and jury give them the max so that can't harm anyone else. Jenterius and Tony may God have mercy on ya'll souls.

Pete, please educate yourself before speaking on subjects you know very little about! facebook is not law enforcement friendly and provides no intel to law enforcement. Next time your family is a victim of a crime, give them a buzz.

Its obvious that some of you haven't learned the Ten Commandments nor read your Bible. Yes it was wrong if he REALLY killed those guys but who are we to try & determine his destiny. God will handle him accordingly. No man law enforcement or not should have the right to kill someone for their wrong doing.....remember God forgives for EVERYGHING but self murder. Alot of you need PRAYER because you are heartless. Let God deal with these & he will according to his plan.

Okay he didn't REALLY gun anyone down, and God will forgive him when he comes your way and does you or someone in your family harm. You need prayer to enable you to see the evil in these thugs. They are cowards, criminals & terrorist, who are a burden to society and have NO desire to be successful in life. Until the parents (all those teenagers)learn to be better parents than the ones that birth them, this type of behavior will continue and most likely get worse in future generations.

who are we to judge? does not the defendant receive judgment from a jury of his peers? and if not that, a panel of judges? are you saying that there should be no judges? no consequences? God handled this situation 'accordingly' by letting these thugs get found! Thankyou God for that! and God forgives EVERYTHING (self-murder included) except for denial of Him. im not a Bible scholar but i know that much and i hate for God's word to be misconstrued as you are doing in your post. maybe YOU should read your Bible--if thats what you refer to; sounds pretty mixed up and made up to me!

a jury of this guy's peers are going to be more thugs who think this type of activity is OK.
