Two Arrested After Mobile Home Park Shooting

New Bern police have arrested two suspects after a man was shot early Saturday morning at a mobile home park.

According to officers they were called out to Beech Grove Mobile Home Park around 2:52 a.m. in reference to a fight in progress.

Officers say they found Timothy Horne had been shot. Horne was treated and released from the hospital.

Officers arrested Michael Whitehead for the shooting. He is facing several charges including assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and shooting into an occupied dwelling. Whitehead was released from jail on a $30,000 dollar bond. His first court appearance is set for Monday November 7th.

Officers also arrested Jessie White for the shooting. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and aiding and abetting a felony. He has been released on a $15,000 bond. His first court appearance is also Monday November 7th.
