A Farmville man is scheduled to be in court Monday morning after troopers say he drove drunk and killed a woman.
Sidney Barrett, 26, is accused of killing 57-year-old Phyllis Hardy of Greenville in a wreck near Farmville Saturday night.
Barrett is jailed under a $225,000 bond ahead of his first court appearance.
Troopers say Barrett's passengers, 16-Year-Old Laquayvaious Tyson and 22-year-old, Michael Tyson were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to troopers.
Barrett and 24-year-old, Bryan Corbett, were not transported.
According to troopers 57-year-old Phyllis Hardy was killed after 26-year-old Sidney Barrett of Farmville crossed left to center on Highway 121 and hit Hardy's vehicle head on. It happened near Kittrell Hill Road about 2 miles outside of Farmville.
Three other people in Barrett's vehicle were transported to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. Hardy was the only one in her vehicle.
Barrett has been charged with felony death by a motor vehicle, DWI, and driving while license revoked.
According to records Barrett has prior convictions of driving while license revoked.
