Trio Charged In Beach Burglaries

Three men have been arrested for a series of burglaries that happened at the beach. Police say they have recovered some $2,000 in stolen loot.

Robert Gladwell, Jeremy Gibble and Zachary Ericksen were arrested for one home burglary and four vehicle break-ins that happened in Emerald Isle over the past week.

The three have been charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, four counts of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, four counts of misdemeanor larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, four counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen goods and felony conspiracy.

Gladwell was also arrested last week by Cape Carteret police for breaking into two vehicles there.

Gibble and Ericksen are under $50,000.00 secured bonds while Gladwell's bond was set at $60,000.00 secured.
