A trial date has been set for the mother of a slain 5-year-old Fayetteville girl.
The Fayetteville Observer reports Antoinette Davis faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder, sexual servitude with a child and human trafficking in connection with the death of Shaniya Davis in November 2009.

Davis's lawyer, D.W. Bray, asked for a second lawyer to assist him in her defense. Judge Jim Ammons granted the request.
Jurors deliberated for less than 40 minutes in late May before convicting Mario McNeill for the child's murder, McNeill was sentenced to death.
