Traffic Stop Nets Arrest, Heroin, Cash & Cadillac Escalade

A traffic stop on a Wayne County interstate has netted lawmen with the arrest of a suspected drug trafficker, $30,000 in heroin, cash and a Cadillac Escalade.

Quaashon Phillips of Goldsboro was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say the traffic stop happened on Interstate 795 by the Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Squad, the Sheriff's Office "ACE Team" and members from the DEA. Seized were two ounces of heroin, $1,200 in cash and the Cadillac.

Phillips is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
