Three Kilos Seized In Wayne County Traffic Stop

Three kilos of cocaine have been seized after a traffic stop on U.S. 70 in Wayne County.

Deputies say the stop occurred after a traffic violation on Monday. Inside the vehicle lawmen say they found the cocaine, which has a street value of $300,000.

Two people were arrested. Areceli Zepeda of Burlington was charged with third level trafficking in cocaine, along with a man who authorities have yet to confirm his name.

The man and woman are in jail on $1,000,000 bonds.

You know what gets me is the fact that the suppliers get busted but the addicts get rehab or nothing???? Ok People lets take a look at this situation..... if there were no addicts then guess what.......there would not be any drugs wanted and then there would not be dealers out there on the streets.....Why is it always the dealers fault???Did they hold a gun to your head and say YOU better buy this from me and get addicted and then start robbing people and killing so you can get the money to afford it?? NOOOOO i don't think so....Reality Check Please

And you could turn this around...if there was no one selling it, there would be no one to buy it, and no one using it. So you're point is useless.

A few more $100,000 keys? Where do they come up with these numbers?

Dumb question but: If you were smuggling drugs would you do something like speed, or run lights? I would be following all the laws and avoid drawing attention to myself. Not the brightest, those two. The man must be here illegally if they cannot even confirm his name...wonder how many names he has?

Bailiff....if u or the general public really knew the bonds that people get around here you all would have a lie

So the Penn State guy molests kids and got $100k unsecured bail and goes home. These two get a million each for merely having something that a LOT of people in Pitt county apparently want to buy.

This is my point exactly. Where are the priorties in America? Of course what these two were doing is wrong but seriously a $1,000,000 bond..yet murderers and rapists pretty much walk free. This is crazy.

Before you guys tagged these people as illegal aliens, should you make sure that they are illegal aliens. If they are illegal, hey I'm all for kicking them back across the border. But if they are U.S. citizens, well then what does that make all these commenters that cry "illegal alien" every time someone looks the lease bit latino.

It has been the tax paying American's public experience that most of the crime committed by someone that "looks the lease bit latino" has been an "illegal alien". Check it out for yourself.

This is just another day in the dope game. They send many packages at the same time, some get caught, most make it to the streets. While the police are giving out high fives at these road side bust, more drugs are being brought in on another route. Dope is cheap these days=alot on the streets.
