Three Arrested On Drug Charges In Pitt & Beaufort Counties
Two sheriff's offices in the east teamed up to arrest three suspects on heroin charges.
The Pitt and Beaufort County Sheriff's Offices arrested 29-year- old Michael Cartwright, 41-year-old Willie Clark, Jr. and 46-year-old Joseph Vines during a search of 1408 Joel Lane.
Ten bricks of heroin were discovered. Two vehicles and $3,000 were also seized.
Cartwright and Clark are charged with trafficking heroin. Both are in the Pitt County Detention Center.
Cartwright is under a $1 million bond, and Clark is under a $500,000 bond.
Vines is also in the detention center for violating conditions of his pre-trial release.
