Customers hurriedly ran outside to safety as three gunmen robbed a Chinese restaurant at the dinner hour Tuesday night.

Kinston police say no one was injured in the holdup at the Wok N Roll Restaurant on North Herritage Street.

The robbery happened around 6:35 p.m. and the owner's son says one of the masked men was armed with a shotgun, the other two with pistols.

Surveillance video shows between seven and ten customers, along with five employees, making a panicked run for the front door while the gunmen cleaned out the register. People tried to get out so quickly that several of them fell down, including a child.

Around $100 in cash was taken, according to the restaurant.

So far, no arrests have been make.
