Three Men Arrested Shortly After Breaking Into Martin County Home

Details provided by the victim in a home invasion are what deputies say led to the arrest of three men for the crime.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Michael Wilson, 20-year-old William Davis and 19-year-old Trevon Rice have been charged with breaking and entering, possession of stolen property, and larceny of a firearm.

Deputies say the break-in occurred around 11:30 Monday morning at a Robersonville home on U.S. 64 Alternate. We're told the three men stole a television, shotgun, air rifle, jewelry and cash.

Deputies with the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office intercepted the men on U.S. 64 near mile marker 488, where they were taken to the Martin County Sheriff's Office for processing.
