Three Children Found Near Working Meth Lab

Deputies say they found three children near a working meth lab in Onslow County on Sunday.

Jonathan Bowman and Stacy Hill have been charged with making meth, conspiracy and maintaining a dwelling or place for controled substances.

Deputies say the meth lab was on Maplehurst Drive in the Southwest community. After getting a search warrant from a Superior Court judge, deputies and SBI agents found the two suspects in an out building on the property containing a working lab.

The children were taken to Onslow Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

Deputies say more charges against Bowman and Hill are likely for possession of meth precursors and child abuse/neglect. The two are being held on $175,500 bonds.
