Teen Charged In 20 Break-Ins Following Manhunt

A manhunt turns up a teenager suspected of several break-ins in the east.

Martin County Sheriff's Deputies say 16-year-old Michael Rouse broke into a couple of homes on Bear Grass Road early Tuesday morning and a homeowner held Rouse, but he got away.

The area was secured and K-9 units were called in. Deputies say they found stolen property in the woods, and found Rouse hiding in a boat on Five Cent Road.

Rouse is being held on 20 charges of breaking into homes and cars and is expected to be charged with additional break- ins in the area.
