A high school student is now facing serious charges after deputies say he committed sex crimes against two children at a park.
That's according to NBC affiliate WECT, which also reported New Hanover County deputies said 17-year-old Timothy Shaw took part in sex crimes against two 12-year-old boys at Carolina Beach State Park in Wilmington.
Shaw is facing nine counts of felony first degree sex offense of a child and disseminating obscenity materials, amongst other charges.
Court documents show Shaw had inappropriate pictures of the children.
Investigators said the alleged incidents happened last weekend.
